Our apartment is in Ehrenfeld, a former working class hood in the process of gentrification which means you'll find lots of cafés, bars and clubs here as well, just a very trendy area.
Grocery shopping just around the corner, three minutes to the supermarket, which is open until late evening.
Public transport can be reached in a short 2 min walk , it is the underground station Leyendecker Strasse. Lines 3 & 4 stop here with connections every 5 minutes.
Without changing lines you can reach:
- Friesenplatz (Belgian Quarter /Ringe - another night live hotspot): in 6 min or 5 stops
- Neumarkt (Downtown): in 10 min or 7 stops
-Trade Fair Cologne, Messe Deutz: 17 min or 9 stops
It can take you as short as 30 min to get from the airport to our apartment, even possible by public transport. The next train station "Bahnhof Ehrenfeld" is reached just in 600 meters.
